In The Box Sessions

What is an "In the Box" Session?
Photos are taken in a custom made 4x4x2 foot box. The goal of this session is to create a larger collage by photoshopping the images together to create a fun composite (collage) of 9-12 images.
How long is the session?
This typically depends on the age of the kids being photographed. This will be discussed when booking and will help you decide whether or not you are able to add another backdrop session the same day.
What should we wear?
No white clothing items (we don't want any "floating" limbs!)
What is your cancellation policy?
Holiday sessions follow a different cancellation policy than the rest of my yearly business. Since your session is taking away from time that another family could have booked, any session cancelled with less than one week notice forfeits your deposit/retainer fee.
If you are rescheduling due to illness, a new session will be booked at the soonest date possible.
How many photos will I receive?
You will receive the individual "box" images taken plus your collage composite image.
How are photos selected for the collage?
You have a choice to allow me to choose the images that I feel are most suitable and will give you the most creativity in your collage.
OR
You can receive your gallery and tell me your favorite images for me to incorporate.
Revision fees are $25 per image change.
Who can do this session?
This session is great for MOST ages. However, I recommend that any child younger than 2 years old to be held by a sibling or a parent for all photos. No solo images will be taken of a child that is unable to sit up on their own.
Most adults will fit comfortably when taking solo photos. However, in group photos it will be more of a squeeze! I recommend one group photo for the middle of your collage :)
What time should I arrive for my scheduled session?
You should arrive approximately 5 minutes prior to your session. A late arrival takes away time from your scheduled slot.
How will I receive my photos
All photos are delivered through an online gallery that is password protected. You are able to then download these photos and use them as you wish.
How does payment work?
There will be a 30% deposit required when booking to secure your date and time. The remaining payment is due the day of your session, as photos will not be delivered until it is received. Please see my cancellation policy for further information.
Payment can be made with cash, check, Venmo, or Zelle.
Can we combine with another family?
Yes! A cool component of this session is the Photoshop element. For instance, if you are coming one day and having cousins coming another, you can choose to have your "box" composite shared by both families. We could then do each family member gets their own box, 4 each, etc. plenty of possibilities!
